How to Send Crypto with the DCENT S
Share
Sending from the DCENT S is the S card plus the DCENT app. You pick the account in the app, paste the address you want to pay, type the S card PIN, then tap the S card on the back of the phone. The R3covery card stays put. It is not used for sending.
In the video I had already received BNB on the BNB Smart Chain network. Then I sent that BNB onward the same way you would send to MetaMask, an exchange, or another hardware wallet, as long as the other side is also on BNB Smart Chain.

The S card has no screen of its own. Read the address and the amount in the app before you tap.
Before you tap Send
You need:
- The DCENT app open with the S card wallet already created
- The S card in your hand
- The S card PIN from setup
- The coin already sitting in that account (here, BNB on BNB Smart Chain)
- The other wallet open on that same network, so you can copy its receive address
If the account is missing in the app, add it first under My Wallet. Adding an account also asks for the S card PIN and a tap.
Find the account, then tap Send
Open My Wallet and open the account you want to spend from. In the video that is BNB on BNB Smart Chain. Tap Send.

Stay on the network the coins arrived on. BNB Smart Chain BNB and Ethereum mainnet ETH are different networks. The address format can look similar but the coins land on different chains.
Paste the address you want to pay
On the other wallet, open Receive for that same coin and network. Copy the address, or scan its QR code if the DCENT app offers a scan button.
Paste it into the send screen.

Enter the amount
Type how much you want to send. The app also shows a network fee. On BNB Smart Chain that fee is paid in BNB, so you need a little BNB in the account for the fee.

Check the summary, then send
The next screen is the last look at the address, the amount, and the fee. When those match what you meant, tap Send.

Enter the S card PIN
Type the PIN you set for the S card. That is not the R3covery card PIN, and it is not the lock code on the DCENT app if you turned that on.

Tap the S card
Hold the main S card against the back of the phone until the app finishes reading it. Keep it there for a moment. The card takes power from the phone during that tap.

Wait for the app to show it is done
When the tap works, the app submits the payment. You should see the send listed as complete or waiting on the network.

Check the other wallet after that. The first time you pay a new address, a small test amount is enough.
Receiving, if you still need coins on the card
To get coins onto the S card first, open that account, tap Receive, and copy the address. Paste it into the wallet you are sending from. In the video, BNB left another wallet on BNB Smart Chain and arrived on the S card on BNB Smart Chain.
Checklist
- I opened the same network the coins are on
- The destination address matches the other wallet
- Amount and fee look right
- I entered the S card PIN
- I tapped the S card and the app accepted it
- The send shows in the app
