Bandwidth Requirement and Power Consumption

To earn the full amount, the DeEEP miner requires 100 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up bandwidth. It’s pre-configured to use 50% bandwidth, so 200 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up is optimal, though users can adjust this. Insufficient bandwidth reduces earnings. Power usage is 35 watts idle and 60-100 watts when running.

Run Multiple at the Same Location

There’s no limit to how many DeEEP miners can operate on the same internet connection, as long as each has sufficient bandwidth to earn the full amount.

Setup

The DeEEP miner only needs power and an internet connection. For maximum earnings, plug it directly into the modem or use a router with all ports forwarded. Without proper port forwarding, it earns half the maximum amount for its tier.

DeEEP Miner Earnings

Currently in testnet, DeEEP Network tracks "days online" for conversion to testnet tokens, which will later become mainnet tokens upon launch. Initially, miners receive a "plug-in reward" for being online, lasting 12 months. Utilization rewards (or "minting rewards") come from node workload, with a base amount per device that can increase with more usage. Hosting rewards, similar to utilization, come from companies like NerdNode hosting nodes on your device, earning you 70% of their dollar revenue in DeEEP tokens.
