How to Send Crypto from the Ellipal X Card
Share
Once the X Card is set up, sending is done in the ELLIPAL app on your phone. You pick the coin, paste the address you want to pay, type your card PIN, then tap the card on the back of the phone. The card approves the payment. The app sends it out.
In the video I sent BNB on the BNB Smart Chain network to a MetaMask wallet, then sent that same BNB back from the X Card. MetaMask is only the example. Any wallet that can receive that same coin on that same network works the same way.

Official send steps: send a transaction with ELLIPAL X Card.
What you need in front of you
- The X Card and the ELLIPAL app already connected
- The coin sitting on the X Card (in the video that was BNB on BNB Smart Chain)
- The other wallet open, on that same network, so you can copy its receive address
- The card PIN you set on the Starter
The X Card has no screen. The app is where you read the address and the amount. Take a second on that screen before you tap.
Step 1. Find the coin in the ELLIPAL app
Open the ELLIPAL app and open the X Card wallet. Select the coin you want to send. In the video that is BNB, and it is listed under BNB Smart Chain.

If you received the coins on BNB Smart Chain, send them from BNB Smart Chain. The name of the coin is not enough on its own. The network has to match.
Step 2. Copy the address from the wallet you want to pay
Open the other wallet. In the video that wallet is MetaMask. Find the same coin on the same network, then open Receive (some wallets say Deposit). Copy the address, or keep the QR code on screen if the ELLIPAL app can scan it.

A BNB Smart Chain address will not work as an Ethereum payment, even if the letters look similar. Stay on one network for the whole send.
Step 3. Tap Send in the ELLIPAL app
Go back to the ELLIPAL app. Stay on that same coin. Tap Send.

Step 4. Paste the address, enter the amount, submit
Paste the address you copied. Check the start and the end against the other wallet. Type how much you want to send. The app will also show a network fee. On BNB Smart Chain that fee is paid in BNB.
Tap Submit when the details look right.

Step 5. Type the card PIN
The app asks for the PIN you created on the Starter. That PIN is what lets this card approve a send.

Step 6. Tap the X Card on the phone
Hold the card near the NFC area on the back of the phone. On a lot of phones that is the upper half of the back. Keep it there until the app reacts.

If nothing happens, slide the card a little higher or lower and try again. Thick cases can get in the way.
Step 7. Wait for the app to show it went out
When the tap works, the app submits the payment to the network. You should see it listed as sent or waiting for confirmation.

You can open the other wallet after that and wait for the balance to update. The first time you pay a new address, send a small amount and wait until it arrives.
A short note on receiving, since the video starts there
To get coins onto the X Card first, open that coin in the ELLIPAL app, tap Receive, and copy the address. Paste that address into MetaMask, an exchange, or whatever you are sending from. The sending side has to use the same network. In the video, BNB left MetaMask on BNB Smart Chain and arrived on the X Card on BNB Smart Chain.
Quick checklist
- The coin in ELLIPAL is on the same network as the other wallet
- I copied the receive address from that other wallet
- Amount and fee look right
- I entered the card PIN
- I tapped the X Card and the app accepted it
- The send shows in the app
